Contributors

Julie Hunt (a.k.a. “Joules”): Creator and Senior Editor
Julie holds a BA in English literature from the University of Michigan and an MA in English literature, with a focus on poetry and nonfiction, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She currently works as a writer for Booklist magazine and at the Chicago Cultural Center curating the Chicago Publishers Gallery. She possesses a particular fondness for Virginia Woolf, William Shakespeare, and medieval Japanese poetry. In Chicago, her favorite presses are those producing interesting, intelligent work, such as Dancing Girl Press and Agate Publishing. She resides in a West Loop loft with her boyfriend.

Curtis Hiller (a.k.a. “C-Check”): Web Designer and Reviewer
Curtis is a jack-of-all-trades: he manages the site’s design and does the serious, so-nerdy-you-get-paid-good-money-for-it coding that keeps the site looking first-day-of -school sharp.  He also writes the occasional book review, is literally the man behind the camera, and makes mean fajitas.  Outside of Publish Chicago, he works as the senior multimedia developer for Manning Productions.  He lives in a West Loop loft with his girlfriend.
