Newcity, a magazine with a local cultural radar that is owned and published in Chicago, recently launched Newcity Resto, a blog focused on dining and food culture in the Windy City to to coincide with their most recent issue, “Resto 100: Chicago’s Essential Restaurants.”

Karen Hanson, author of  Today’s Chicago Blues, published by Chicago publisher Lake Claremont Press, is running a blog about her roadtrip to famous blues locations in the South.

Jim over at Imagination, a Chicago-based custom publishing company, recently posted Long Live Magazines to his blog, a rather interesting post debating the pros and cons of both digital and print publishing.
